Join the BVBIA Board of Directors

BVBIA's board provides volunteer experience for directors that is rich in learning and is cognizant of busy schedules and lives. Ready for a new leadership role? Want to support the work that we do?

1. Apply

Your application will be reviewed and a director will contact you for a face to face meeting.

2. Interview

A member of our friendly, professional board will sit down with you for an interview. You will be given a list of questions ahead of time. 

3. Paperwork 

If invited to join our board, you are required to sign a confidentiality form, a membership form and a Board of Director committment form (which we ask you honour for one year).

4. Board Orientation Manual

Once the paperwork is taken care of, the executive director will go over the Board Orientation Manual with you prior to your first board meeting.

We do have insurance for our Board of Directors. All positions on our board are volunteer with no remuneration.
